On Thursday, 8/20, our guest speaker was Bill Peak from Patriot Flight, who updated us on what’s happening before we presented him with a nice big check for $2,231.89. He has 93 veterans who want to travel to D.C. this year and we helped him send at least seven, so needless to say he was very happy! Bill and his lovely wife, Laura, have become friends with our Rotary group and we look forward to having them come back with an update after the flight.
