The Rotary Club of Northern Columbia County is sponsoring a bus trip to the Woodbury Common Premium Outlets in Central Valley, NY, on Saturday, November 8th, for a day of shopping fun that will also benefit Rotary International’s efforts to eradicate polio worldwide.
The charter bus leaves at 8 a.m. from the First Niagara Bank at 16 Coleman Street in Chatham. There will be a second pick up in Catskill, at the parking area next to Thruway Exit 21, at 8:45 a.m. The bus should arrive at Woodbury Common between 10:15-10:30 am. Scheduled departure is 5 p.m.
Shoppers will have more than six hours to “shop ‘til they drop” at 220 OUTLET STORES and over 15 FOOD locations to choose from. Find impressive savings at Burberry, Coach, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Gap Outlet, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, J.Crew, Jimmy Choo, Lacoste, Neiman Marcus Last Call, Polo Ralph Lauren, Prada, Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th, Tod's, Tory Burch, Zegna and more. Click here to visit their website.
Cost of the trip is $60 and includes donuts and coffee for the trip down. Additionally, VIP Coupon booklets will be available upon arrival. Call Donna Bemiss at 518-392-8586 for reservations. Reservations must be made by October 15th.
The profit from the trip will be donated by The Northern Columbia Rotary Club to Rotary International’s polio eradication efforts. Rotary has been working towards the eradication of polio for 25 years, and after immunizing millions of children has almost reached the goal of complete eradication. In January of 2008, Rotary International received a challenge grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in the amount of $100 million to aid its pursuit of a Polio Free World. Rotary clubs around the world have three years to collectively match the grant.
