Did you know that there are 900 children in Columbia County that do NOT have health insurance? According to Lisa Thomas, Senior Program Director at The Healthcare Consortium, there is no reason why any child in Columbia County should be uninsured and they are out in the community daily trying to spread the information about the options available to families. "Unfortunately, there is a stigma attached to Medicaid." Lisa told our Rotary group.
